WORCESTER – Jayne C. (Blackman) Eovacious, 61, of Farnum Terrace, died at home on Friday, March 30, 2007, after a brave battle with cancer.
She leaves her children, Paul D. Eovacious, Jr. and his wife Susan of Temecula, California, Scott P. Eovacious and his wife Kimara of Worcester, and Brian J. Eovacious and his wife Wendy of Rutland; two sisters, Nancy Higgins of Weymouth and her twin sister Joyce Gillis of Hyannis; four grandchildren, Jenna, Taylor, Vinny, and Rachel; two nieces and two nephews. She was born in Boston, the daughter of Ernest and Evelyn (Fox) Blackman and lived in Shrewsbury before moving to Worcester.
Jayne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Anna Maria College. She worked for the Children’s Friend and the Catholic Charities in Worcester. She volunteered making quilts for the Linus Project at Trinity Lutheran Church.
A memorial service for Jayne will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 7th, in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 6, in the funeral home.
