Celeste G. Méthot

OAKHAM - Celeste G. Méthot, 69, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Celeste is survived by her husband and partner of 44 years, Ronald Wolanin of Oakham.
Celeste graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in Millbury. She attended the St. Vincent Hospital school of nursing and graduated from Youville Hospital Nursing School in Cambridge, MA. She worked as a nurse for 33 years at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester until her retirement.
She was artistically talented in interior decorating, pointillism, photography, digital art forms and use of other artistic modalities.
Celeste leaves two sisters and their husbands: Camille J. (Méthot) Perry and Walter E. Perry, Jr. of Paxton, MA; Adrienne R. Méthot and Lawrence M. Turner of Holden, MA; three brothers, Marc A. Méthot and Karen Méthot of Leicester, MA; John F. Méthot of Hyannis, MA, and Mathieu L. Méthot of Worcester, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her mother, Florence J (René) Méthot who died in 2000; father, John P. Méthot who died in 1980; and her sister, Michelle D. Reidy who died December 2023.
A private service/celebration of life will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, MA.
