Cecile I. (Morin) Rocheleau

July 9, 1936 — July 31, 2016

HOLDEN - Cecile I. (Morin) Rocheleau, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, following a brief illness. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Regina (Vachon) Morin. Cecile’s beloved husband of 58 years, William K. Rocheleau died on May 3rd of this year. She leaves her brother, Roland W. Morin and his wife, Judy of New Braintree; her nieces and nephews including, Forrest Morin, Rhonda Howe, Lorna Pollard, Lance Morin, Amanda Thompson, Felix, David and Mark Fikucki, Dawn Dawson, William, Michael and James Rocheleau; several great nieces and nephews; as well as a very dear friend Richard E. Blood and his family. Cecile attended school in Worcester and graduated from Classical High School. She began a long career as an office receptionist while working with the late Dr. Robert Ciccione in Worcester. She then spent almost 40 years with the former Woodbury and Company. Following her retirement, Cecile’s love of children led her to spend several years as a kindergarten classroom volunteer in Holden. Cecile and Bill loved to travel, especially enjoying cruises. She was an avid reader and her meticulous manner and attention to detail were second to none in everything she did.
