S Marjorie C. (Clough) Clark

October 5, 1913 — April 15, 2010

HOLDEN – Marjorie C. (Clough) Clark, 96, formerly of Paugus Road, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Homestead Hall, Worcester.

Her husband of 62 years, Clement P. Clark, died in June of 2004. She leaves a daughter, Carol D. C. Hunter of Granby, Colorado; a brother, H. Raymond Clough of Worcester; two grandchildren, Deborah A. Leroux of Fraser, Colorado and James P. Hunter of Orlando, Florida; four great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. Two sons, Wayne D. Clark and Donald P. Clark, a sister, Doris C. Crump, and a brother, Gordon R. Clough, predeceased her. She was born on October 5, 1913 in Contoocook, New Hampshire, the daughter of Harry R. and Florence I. (Illsley) Clough. She lived in Princeton for 18 years, Holden for 40 years before moving to the Goddard House in Worcester in 2004. She also lived outside of London, England from 1966 to 1969. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and was an active member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church for many years. Her interests were her family, friends, gardening, traveling and reading.

Mrs. Clark’s family would like to thank the staff at both the Goddard House and Homestead Hall for their outstanding care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27th, in the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1048 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery, Princeton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Homestead Hall/Goddard House, 1199 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
