Cathy-Ann Bergeron- Buckley

LUNENBURG – Cathy-Ann Bergeron-Buckley, 65, formerly of Fitchburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at UMass Memorial Healthcare – University Campus in Worcester.

She was born in Fitchburg on December 4, 1957, the daughter of the late George L. Bergeron, Jr. and Theresa J. (Clermont) Bergeron. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and worked as a Medical Clerk at Burbank Hospital for many years. Cathy had a kind heart and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She had a deep fondness for animals, especially for her beloved cat, Peanut.

She leaves her sisters, April Fey and her husband, Robert, of Raymond, ME, Michelle McGrath and her husband, James, of Fitchburg and Amy Shampine and her husband, Jeffrey, of Ashburnham; her brothers, George Bergeron III and his wife, Francine, of Leominster and Peter Bergeron and his fiancé, Linda Souter Ziehm of Peterborough, NH; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 19th in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Funeral services for Cathy will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
