PRINCETON – Carrington “Carry” F. Noel, Jr., 67, of 4 Calamint Hill Road South, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, in his home after a valiant battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 23 years, Dianne J. (Temple) Engelhardt–Noel; two sons, Carrington F. Noel, III and Robert E. Noel both of Barre; three step-sons, Joel P. Engelhardt, Jr. of Hubbardston, John M. Engelhardt of Power, Montana and Karl E. Engelhardt of Oxford; a brother, William Noel of Japan; nine grandchildren; and “Auntie” Pearl Bailey of Worcester. A brother, Robert C. Noel of Las Vegas, died May 27th, and a sister, Pearl Ann, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester and raised in Sterling, the son of Carrington F. and Geraldine (Blodgett) Noel, and lived 27 years in Princeton.
Carry graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden and Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and was a mathematics teacher at the Fay School in Southboro and later at the Shepherd Knapp School in Boylston. He also worked several years at Micro Networks in Worcester.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life and reception which will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, in Cheoy Lee’s Restaurant, Route 12, West Boylston.
