NORTHBOROUGH – Carolyn R. (Richard) Kinnear, 84, beloved wife of the late Harold E. “Fuzz” Kinnear, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Notre Dame Long Term Care Center in Worcester.
Carolyn was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Leon and Rose (Caffarelli) Richard. After graduating from St. Peter’s Central High School she met and married her husband of 42 years, Harold and together they raised their family in Northborough. A devout Roman Catholic, Carolyn was a faithful member of St. Bernadette’s Parish.
Faith and family were first and foremost in her life. She took great pride in her home and enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family as they gathered around the dinner table. In her spare time, she enjoyed antiquing, gardening, and walking (especially with her dear sister Jill).
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Kevin Kinnear and his wife, Katie of Hubbardston; her two daughters, Karen Randall and her husband, Paul of Celina, TX and Kathleen Quinty and her husband, Scott of Rutland; her two brothers, Leon Richard and his wife, Martina of Port Townsend, WA and Paul Richard and his wife, Camille of Indianapolis, IN; her sister, Jilda St. Martin of Lunenburg; her eight grandchildren, Michael Randall and his wife, Olivia, Vanessa Reese and her husband, Daniel, Zachary Kinnear and his wife, Tori, Jack, Emma, Anna Kate and Katrina Kinnear, and Erin Quinty; her three great-grandchildren, Shea, Lainee and Elijah; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, September 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately.
