Caroline A. Sargent

PRINCETON - Caroline A. Sargent, 44, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 10, 2017.  Caroline was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of Edward R. and Dr. Jane (Cummin) Sargent and lived in Princeton for most of her life.   Caroline graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UMass Amherst.  Caroline had a passion for art and was blessed with an ability to paint in a wide array of styles which are evident in the many paintings she had created and shared.  She was a long time member of the First Congregational Church of Princeton and leaves many dear friends there.       Caroline is survived by her mother, Dr. Jane (Cummin) Sargent of Princeton; her father, Edward R. Sargent of Philadelphia; her son, Alexander W. Hale of Princeton; her brother, Samuel W. Sargent of Philadelphia; her former husband, Bradley Hale of Fitchburg; her brother-in-law, Dann Colburn of Templeton; and many friends.  She was predeceased by her sister, Alexandra Trumbull Sargent-Colburn in 2015.    Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring and celebrating Caroline's life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the First Congregational Church of Princeton, 14 Mountain Rd, Princeton.  Burial will be private at a later date.
