Holden - Carol D. (Froggatt) Marion, 79, of Holden, passed away peacefully at home, with her husband Phil by her side on May 24, 2024. Born in Worcester on January 26, 1945, she was the daughter of John and Phyllis Froggatt. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 56 years, Phil Marion of Holden; her daughter, Renée Marion of Rutland; her 2 brothers, John D. Froggatt of Boise, Idaho, and Richard H. Froggatt of Princeton; her beloved grandson Kevin; and a niece and nephew, John and Jill.
Carol graduated from Commerce High School and went on to complete some college courses at Becker College. At 19 she started working at Norton Company and worked her way up to a position in customer service; she worked there for 40 years until retirement. She was an incredible cook and took great joy in feeding her friends and family, always. She was a fantastic water skier and enjoyed many wonderful times with family at Wallum Lake. She enjoyed many wonderful trips through the years, including traveling to Daytona Beach, Bermuda, Alaska, Nova Scotia, Idaho, England, and France. In later years, she absolutely loved swimming in her pool with family and friends.
Carol was a true angel on earth and generous beyond words, she always thought of others first. Her loyalty to her family and friends was undeniable; if she loved you, she would fight in your corner to the end. She was a real fighter and never gave up, her strength was remarkable, and her fierceness gave her a truly unique spirit.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Notre Dame Hospice, especially Carol’s primary nurse, Karen.
