Carol L. (Beland) Reidy

HOLDEN – Carol L. (Beland) Reidy, 59, of 22 Thorny Lea, died Saturday, February 14, 2004, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after taking ill at home.
She leaves her husband of 36 years, Kevin J. Reidy; a daughter, Erin Beth Reidy of Arlington, VA; her parents, Lorenzo “Pete” and Gertrude (Boutilette) Beland of Webster; a brother, Alfred Beland of Webster; a sister, Nancy Camerano of Webster; nephews and nieces. A sister, Arlene Beland, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester and lived many years Oxford and 25 years in Holden.
Carol was the office manager in the Admissions Office at Assumption College in Worcester for several years. Previously, she worked 37 years at Paul Revere Life Insurance Company in Worcester. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1962 and was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Jefferson.
The funeral for Carol will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2004, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in St. Roch’s Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Work Study Scholarship Fund, c/o the Admissions Office at Assumption College, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
