RUTLAND – Carmella (Dalesandro) Hutchings, 64, of Juniper Lane, passed away after an illness on Monday, April 25, 2011 in UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, Worcester.
She was born in Pittsfield, the daughter of Anthony and Marian (Hardy) Dalesandro, and lived in Chester and Worcester before moving to Rutland 33 years ago. She received her Registered Nursing degree from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Emmanuel College in Boston and was a devoted Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Holden.
Carmella is survived by her beloved daughters, Sarah K. Clark and her husband Joshua of Oxford, CT and Rebecca J. Hutchings of Rutland. Nonni will be sadly missed by her two cherished grandchildren, Amelia and Charles. She leaves a brother, Fred Dalesandro of South Carolina, a niece and nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 29th, in St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street (Rte. 31), Holden.
