HOLDEN - Carlo Cappuccio, 75, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at UMass Memorial-University Campus, Worcester, after a brief illness. Born in Grottaminarda, Italy, Providence of Avellino, Carlo was the son of Michealangelo and Michaelina (Flamia) Cappuccio and lived the last 29 years in Holden.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his beloved wife of 43years, Antonia (Amoroso) Cappuccio; his son, Michael A. Cappuccio and his fiancee, Barbara Welch of Holden; his daughter, Rosaria “Rosie” Cappuccio of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Madison, Charlotte and Rocco; a sister, Rossina Locheatto of Ariano Irpino, Italy; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Besides his parents, Carlo is predeceased by two brothers, Antonio Cappuccio and Rocco Cappuccio and a sister, Carmella Dansereau.

Carlo worked for 31 years a Norton Company in Worcester and 11 years at Granite Research in Worcester.

He enjoyed living the outdoor life experience and was an avid sportsman who loved to fish, hunt and take long walks in the woods. Carlo enjoyed taking his hunting companion, Vinnie, on local pheasant hunts, beaming with pride at a successful hunt. He made many trips to Canada, Montana, Colorado, Maine and numerous spots in Massachusetts. He was a member of the Nimrod Club of Holden, Norco of Princeton and the Eight Point Sportsman Club in Sterling.

Carlo completed carpentry work remodeling homes, building additions and creating comfortable back decks. He prized himself in his gardening skills especially growing his prized Italian Peppers which he paired with his Italian wine and generously offered to his loving family and friends.

To his grandchildren, he was known as "Nono" who were the apple of his eye. He was so proud of their accomplishments.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately at St, Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., followed by entombment in the mausoleum at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. Donations may be made to the Nimrod League of Holden, Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 254, Holden, MA 01520. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
