Camille 'Dolly' G. (Lagorce) Parajeckas

WORCESTER - Camille “Dolly” G. (LaGorce) Parajeckas, 86, died peacefully at home under the loving care of her family on Saturday, March 17, 2012, after a courageous three year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Henry and Grace M. (Pellettier) LaGorce, and lived in Worcester all of her life.



Dolly was a founding and life-time member of St. Christopher’s Church in Worcester and a member of the Retirement Club. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a dear friend to all those who knew her. She enjoyed vacationing with her family and friends. “Dolly” loved to travel and go to the movies with her friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest and spending times with her family and caring for all of her grandchildren.



Her passion in life was golf. You could find Dolly playing golf with her dear friends at almost any golf course in Central Massachusetts. She belonged to the Green Hill Ladies Association and the Massachusetts Women’s Golf Association.



Her beloved husband of 43 years, Albert R. Parajeckas died in 1990. She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her three sons, Albert R. Parajeckas and his wife Jill of San Juan Capistrano, California, Paul J. Parajeckas and his wife Lorrie of Woburn, and Steven M. Parajeckas and his wife Shelli of Dana Point, California; three daughters, Joan M. Breeds and her husband Daniel of Holden, Janice C. Russell and her husband James of Worcester, and Lynn E. Carbone and her husband Richard of Woburn; three brothers, Henry LaGorce, Jr. and his wife Luella, Francis LaGorce, and Leonard LaGorce all of Tucson, Arizona; a sister Gloria Thompson of Palm Beach, Florida; 14 grandchildren, Casey, Christopher, Julie, Jillian, James, Jesse, Brittney, Paige, Rachel, Brooke, Jason, Kristen, Hollie, and Casey; 10 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.



Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. The funeral Mass celebrating Dolly’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
