HOLDEN - Cameron C. Lufkin, 38, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was born in Worcester and has lived in Holden most of his life.
Cameron graduated from Bancroft School in Worcester and attended the University of Hartford. With an aptitude for computers, Cameron taught himself to become proficient with their systems and coding. He became an IT system supporter for several area companies, including TJX Companies in Marlborough for the past several years. He traveled extensively, enjoyed cooking and could tell you the most elegant and best gourmet restaurant in most cities, as he had visited there to enjoy their food. Cameron’s gregarious personality allowed him to become a friend to many. His larger than life personality would fill any room he was in. He was an avid reader who enjoyed most any genre and enjoyed visiting the ocean.
Cameron will be forever loved and missed by his mother, Janet E. (Amons) Lufkin and her fiancé, Robert Hurst of Phillipston, formerly of Holden; his maternal grandmother, Marguerite E. (Keyes) Amons of Phillipston, formerly of Holden; his uncle, Peter P. Amons and his wife, Denise. He also leaves his aunt, Elaine Amons Lupa and her husband, Stephen Lupa of Holden; his father, Charles H. Lufkin of Cape Cod; as well as several cousins and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Cameron’s family on Monday, March 30, from 6-8 p.m. at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
