Bruce Wyman

February 13, 1950 — August 25, 2013

WORCESTER - Bruce Wyman, 63, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at The Hammond Center after a long illness. He was born in Milford, CT, the son of the late Everett and Helen (Auger) Wyman.

He attended Worcester Public Schools and graduated from Doherty High School in 1968 and lived in Worcester most of his life. Bruce was a member of the All Saints Church choir of men and boys as a youth. Bruce drove a taxi for Yellow and Checker Cab Companies for several years before becoming disabled. Bruce enjoyed playing tennis, ice hockey and cycling in his earlier years and was an avid lifelong Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan.

Bruce leaves his brother, Ralph Wyman and his wife, Grace of St. Augustine, Florida; his nephew, Christopher Wyman of Tampa, Florida; as well as his Aunts Beatrice Craig and Betty Mansfield of Worcester; and a number of cousins.

Bruce was a kind and generous friend to all and a loving brother who will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013, at 1 pm, in Hope Cemetery, Worcester, where he will be interred alongside his mother and father.
