Enfield, CT / Princeton, MA - Brittany N. Anderson, 34, beloved wife of Brian Dickey and daughter of Robert and Kathleen (Padhaisky) Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She passed away from a rare aggressive form of breast cancer.
Brittany was born in Natick, MA and raised in Princeton, MA. After graduating from St. Peter - Marian High School, she went on to further her education at Western New England University where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. She was currently attending Bay Path University in Longmeadow studying to counsel those suffering from depression and addiction.
Brittany was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, coloring, painting, and music. She was a fun-loving, funny, sincere, and compassionate person. She truly had a heart of gold. She enjoyed attending Red Sox games with her dad and cheering on the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. She had a deep love for her parents, they were three peas in a pod. She also loved her pets more than anything, she was an amazing cat mom. Brittany wanted to and did help anyone she could, especially those who were struggling. Her life's goal was to help those in need, and she would have been an amazing counselor.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her husband of 15 years together, Brian Dickey of Enfield, CT; her parents, Robert and Kathleen Anderson of Princeton; and her fur family, Charlie, James, Owen and her newest kitten, Willow. Her precious Minnie predeceased her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 5 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 6 at St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton Street, Holden. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA;
