Brian and Ritty had three children: Gerald Wolfset, Glenn (Beth) Wolfset, Julie (Neil) Gelfond; grandchildren: Robert (Abigail) Wolfset, Adam Wolfset, Hannah Gelfond, Joshua Gelfond; great grandchild: Benjamin Wolfset. He was the husband of Maxine (Simon) Wolfset, and also leaves his sister, Judi Gluck, and his brother, Marcus Wolfset.
Brian was in the US army and deployed to Korea when he was 20 (1954-56). His pride in his service was evident in every story he shared, a testament to his dedication to his country and earned a Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal.
He received his Electrical Engineering degree from Northeastern University. Brian spent most of his career at Honeywell, earning two patents. He was passionate about the team he managed and always created a comfortable environment to share new & creative ideas.
Brian loved spending time with his family. Like clockwork, he would come in from the Cape every Sunday to have lunch with the family. Monti’s veal parm was always a favorite, even better when the Patriots were playing. Food played a big role in our get-togethers. Getting a Coney Island hot dog or a Chipotle quesadilla were regularly cherished moments within our family.
Throughout his life, Brian enjoyed activities with family and friends. He was an avid skier, boater, and tennis/pickleball player. Brian also enjoyed gardening, home repair, and going to the beach. If something needed fixing, Brian always had the solution.
In addition to his remarkable achievements and profound love for his family, Brian was also known for his infectious positive energy and his laugh that could light up any room. His joy was contagious, uplifting those around him and infusing every gathering with warmth and laughter. Whether sharing cherished memories or simply enjoying the company of loved ones, Brian's radiant spirit and laugh were constant reminders of the beauty and joy found in life's simplest moments.
