RUTLAND – Brian K. LaBoffa, 45, of 8 Phillips Road, died suddenly at home on Sunday, June 19, 2005.
He leaves two step-children, Brendan Hunt of Rutland and Meghan Hunt of Worcester; his mother, Karin L. (Kennedy) Nivala of Hubbardston, his father, Robert J. Bigelow of Rutland; two brothers, Bruce E. LaBoffa and Eric R. Bigelow both of Rutland; three sisters, Pamela K. Banach of Charlton, Cindy L. Purcell of Rutland and Elisa J. Borowy of Rutland; seven nephews and two nieces. He was born in Worcester and lived all of his life in Rutland.
Brian was a finish carpenter and worked over 10 years as a skilled installer for Woodmeister Corporation in Worcester. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1978. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service for Brian will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, in the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, 142 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
