HOLDEN - Brian C. Sculthorpe, 15, of 1147 Main Street, died Thursday, December 29, 2005.
He leaves his father with whom he lived, Gregg B. Sculthorpe; his mother, Karen A. Andrews of Spencer; his paternal grandparents, Alfred E. and Patricia W. (Walling) Sculthorpe of Holden; his maternal grandmother, Suzanne Andrews and her companion Frank “PePe” DaSilva of Dartmouth; his uncle, Navy Chief Glenn C. Sculthorpe and his wife Holly of St. Mary’s, Georgia; his aunt, Linda G. Wallace and her husband John of St. Mary’s Georgia; and cousins, Zach and Shea Sculthorpe.
Brian was a Sophomore at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden. He was active in the Wachusett Youth Lacrosse League and Holden Youth Soccer and competed in the Walt Disney World Family Fun Run 5K Race in Orlando. He bowled in the Sunday Night Candlepin Bowling Social League in Worcester. He was a creative writer, enjoyed art and loved spending time with his family and friends.
The funeral service for Brian will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, in St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street (Rte. 31), Holden. Calling hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday, January 2, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
