PRINCETON - Bradford A. Hubbard, 60, of Princeton passed away at home from a long illness in the presence and care of his loving family.Brad was born in Worcester and had made Princeton his home for his entire life. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. Brad lived for his family and the family businesses. He was the fourth generation to operate the family farm, Hubbard’s Farm and he has left it for the fifth and sixth generation to continue. He had built businesses in Princeton in the past, Hubbard’s Saw Mill and then, Hubbard’s Lumber. Growing up, Brad was involved with Worcester County 4-H, Future Farmers of America, and the Princeton Fire Department. Brad served as a Princeton Selectman, a Princeton Light Commissioner and Princeton Business Association officer and member. Brad leaves his wife and best friend,Nancy A. (Rotti) Hubbard; his daughter, Heather M. Cheney and her husband, Brian and their son, Brady; his two sons, Clayton A. Hubbard and his partner, Aaron Barilone and Andrew B. Hubbard and his wife, Annie (DeBruin) and their children, Kaitlyn, Dixie and Steven. He also leaves his mother, Shirley J. (Nelson) Hubbard; a sister Cynthia Keyes and her husband, Stanley; as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. He was pre-deceased by his father Arthur C. Hubbard and grandparents Clayton and Edith (Gleason) Hubbard and Jesse and Mildred (Brownson) Nelson. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Brad’s family on, May 10, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. MA. The funeral celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home followed by a burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Princeton.
