Ralph B. Prinsen

November 18, 1945 — March 27, 2009

LEOMINSTER – Ralph B. Prinsen, 63, of Main St., died Friday, March 27, 2009 in Leominster Health Alliance, after a brief illness.

He leaves three brothers, his twin, Robert A. Prinsen of Fitchburg, Wayne G. Prinsen and his wife Sandra of Spencer and Allen B. Prinsen and his wife Denise of Southbridge; two sisters, Joyce M. Shepardson and her husband James of Sterling and Cynthia J. Johnson and her husband Joseph of Greenfield; and many nephews and nieces. A brother, Lester E. Prinsen, died in 1999. He was born in Leominster the son of Eugene L. and Ruth M. (Barrett) Prinsen, was raised in Sterling and lived in Clinton and over 20 years in Leominster. He was a graduate of Barre High School.

Ralph was a dedicated employee at Plastican Inc. in Leominster for many years. He was a member of the First Church in Sterling, enjoyed traveling and many different intellectual and educational pursuits.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 30th, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. The funeral service for Ralph will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31st, in the First Church in Sterling, 6 Meetinghouse Hill Road, Sterling. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte.62), Sterling. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's memory may be made to the First Church in Sterling, P.O. Box 40, Sterling, MA 01564; or to the Conant Public Library, 4 Meetinghouse Hill Road, Sterling, MA 01564.
