Biography
RUTLAND – Beverley (Paddock) Gallant, 76, passed away at home on Saturday, May 10, 2014, after an illness. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Selby and Madeline (Morrill) Paddock and had lived most of her life in Rutland.
Her husband of 51 years, Ephrem J. Gallant, passed away in 2009. She leaves three sons, Norman Gallant and his wife, Robin of Stafford, Virginia, Ronald Gallant and his wife, Debra of Carrollton, Texas and Jeffrey Gallant and his wife, Jodi of Baldwinville; two daughters, Rosemary Cowart and her husband, Randy of Rutland and Ann Marie Harter of Southbridge; a brother, Franklin Paddock of Rutland; a sister, Phyllis Meagher of Hubbardston; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass for Mrs. Gallant will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, in St. Patrick’s Church, 290 Main Street, Rutland. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, P.O. Box 939, Rutland, MA 01543. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
