HUBBARDSTON – Albert “Bert” I. Buzzell, 46, of Old Princeton Road, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
He leaves a son, Travis A. Buzzell of Hubbardston; his parents, Kenneth L. Buzzell of Hubbardston and Joan A. (Davis) Cummings of Petersham; a paternal grandmother, Margaret (Ferguson) Dragon of Marlboro; a stepson, Francis B. Dunn of Westminster; aunts and uncles including, John and Michelle Davis of Hubbardston; nephews and nieces; and a close friend, Tracy Ulrich of Hubbardston. A brother, Richard K. Buzzell predeceased him. He was born in Worcester and lived most of his life in Hubbardston.
Bert graduated from Quabbin Regional High School and attended Fitchburg State College. He owned and operated a small engine repair service in Hubbardston. He was a member of the Hubbardston Cemetery Commission, and enjoyed playing the guitar, snowmobiling, gardening and exploring nature.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 25th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Bert will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 26th, in the funeral home. Burial will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Albert I.
