LEOMINSTER - Bella (Schaffer) Gross, age 88, formerly of Leominster, died on Monday, August 11, 2014 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Her husband, Paul H. Gross, died in 2004. She leaves a daughter, Robin, wife of Dr. Alan Krumholz of Hilton Head Island, SC; a son, Frederick P. Gross and his wife, Laura of West Hills, CA; six grandchildren, and a great-grandson, Charlie Krumholz.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of Maxwell and Fannie (Klein) Schaffer, and had formerly lived in Leominster, New Jersey and in Florida and more recently in Wisconsin.
She had been an assistant nursing home administrator. She was a member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Leominster.
GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M. ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 14, AT AGUDAS ACHIM CEMETERY ON ROLLSTONE ROAD IN FITCHBURG UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN, MA.
Memorial Observance will be announced at the time of the funeral services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
