TOLLAND, CT/ KENNEBUNKPORT, ME – Jared B. Berube, 34, of Derek Drive, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 15, 2010 in Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 7 years, Dianna (Carlson) Berube; a son, Kyle F. Berube, and a baby due in August; his mother, Jacqueline (Ruggiero) Berube of Kennebunkport, ME; his father, Francis Berube of Edgewater, FL; a sister, Jayne Berube of New York City; his grandparents, Michael and Phyllis Ruggiero of Tewksbury, MA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jared was born in Nashua, New Hampshire and raised in Kennebunkport, Maine. He graduated from Kennebunk High School in 1994, Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1998 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, and Nichols College in 2002 with an MBA. He worked as a cell manager for United Abrasives Inc. in North Windham, CT. Previously, he worked at Toray Plastics in North Kingstown, RI. Jared was an avid sports fan, enjoyed mountain biking and especially loved being a dad. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Jared at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March, 20th at the First Congregational Church of Holden, 1180 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 269 Hanover Street, Building #3, Hanover, MA 02339. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, is assisting the family with arrangements.
