Barry S. Ferency

WALES - Barry S. Ferency, age 73, died on June 11, 2018 in Long Beach, CA.  He was born on December 7, 1944 and was raised in Quincy, MA.  As a young man he served in the Army in Korea.  For the last 40 years he lived in Long Beach and owned and operated a motorcycle parts manufacturing company.  He was predeceased  by his son, Michael Ferency.  He is survived by a son, Garry Ferency of Wales; three brothers, Shmuel Ferency and his wife, Susan Neiman of Hull, Gershon Ferency and his wife, Rachel of Israel, and Homer Sewell of Georgia; and two grandchildren, Lyla and Michael Ferency. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, July 1, at B'Nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John's Road, Worcester, MA, under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.  Shiva will be observed at the home of Shmuel Ferency, 148 Manomet Avenue, Hull, MA from July 1 through July 6.  Visits welcome 2 to 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday and 7:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday, including a Mincha/Ma'ariv Service at sunset.  No flowers or food please.  Donations, if desired, may be made to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Vibrant Emotional Health, 50 Broadway, Floor 19, New York, NY 10004.
