Barbara (Levine) Rudnick Greenberg

WORCESTER – Barbara (Levine) Rudnick Greenberg, 91 died on Sunday, January 19 at her residence.

Her first husband Leo H. Rudnick died in 1975. Her second husband Nathan Greenberg died in 2013. She leaves two sons Rabbi Richard Rudnick and his wife Dr. Sheila Trugman of Worcester and Hal Rudnick and his wife Renee of Charlestown, MA, a daughter Jane Rudnick of Saugus, MA, a sister Ann Pepper of Norman, OK, several grandchildren Lissa Rudnick, Marlyse wife of David Berger, Lavi Rudnick and his wife Julie, Mark Rudnick and his wife Rira, Beth Rudnick, Howie Rudnick and his wife Ariana and Johanna Rudnick and three great grandchildren, Theo, Riley and Lillian. She was predeceased by her brother Stanley Levine.

She was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, a daughter of Ben and Henrietta (Katz) Levine and had lived in Worcester for 70 years.
She graduated from the University of Illinois and for many years was the President of Winter Hill Frozen Foods in Westborough.

She had leadership roles and was very active in organizations that supported the Worcester Jewish Community and the Worcester Community at large.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 23 in Temple Emanuel Sinai, 661 Salisbury Street under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery.

Memorial Observance will be held at her residence through Thursday evening January 23, 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 25 and 12:00- 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 26. Memorial Observance will continue on Monday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 28 at the residence of Rabbi Richard Rudnick and his wife Dr. Sheila Trugman.
