HOLDEN – Barbara A. (St. Francis) Kohlstrom, 69, of 238 Bailey Road, died Monday, April 19, 2004, after being stricken ill at home.
She leaves her loving husband of 46 years, Rudy F. Kohlstrom; two sons, Randy and his wife Diane Kohlstrom of New Salem, and William and his wife Brenda Kohlstrom of Millbury; a daughter, Karen and her husband Charlie Woodcock of Monson; she leaves her beloved grandchildren, Christopher McMahon of Palmer, Brittany McMahon and Caitlin Woodcock both of Monson, Michael Kohlstrom, John Lund and Matthew Lund all of Millbury; she also leaves a great-grandaughter, Emma Shorette of Monson; a sister, Betty Lamy of Fort Myers, Florida; a brother, Wayne St. Francis of Cape Corral, Florida; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Fitchburg one of thirteen children to William and Pearl (Flagg) St. Francis. Barbara worked at the Holden Hospital, Dawson School, Risdon Plastics and the Markee Corporation of Uxbridge before retiring. She enjoyed camping, country music, and playing both card games and computer games with her children and grandchildren.
Barbara’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2004, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, 1290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A calling hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2004 in the funeral home.
