Biography
PAXTON - Audrey (Eayrs) Martin, 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Beaumont of Worcester. She was born in Leominster, the daughter of Frederick and Bertha (Randall) Eayrs and was raised in Rhode Island before moving to Paxton.
Her husband, Harold A. Martin, passed away in 1967. She leaves a son, Dennis A. Martin, Sr. and his wife, Carol of Oakham; a daughter, Karen A. Berger of Lynn; six beloved grandchildren, Kimberly Johnston and her husband, Kevin, Keary Simmerman and her husband, Jesse, Nicole Ryan and her husband, Connor, Christopher Martin, Jennifer Morin and Dennis A. Martin, Jr.; seven beloved great-grandchildren; five nephews; and three nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Margaret Eayrs and Marcia Steere.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family at Mooreland Cemetery in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shrines Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104-2396. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
