WORCESTER – Audrey H. (Francis) Cote, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Life Care Center of Auburn. Born and raised in Lenox Island, she was a Mi’kmaq of the Abegweit Band, Canada. Audrey was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha Francis, Rocky Point, P.E.I., Canada.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her three daughters, Tammy Fitzgerald and her husband, John of Holden, Lori Booth and her husband, Albert of Spencer and Kim Cote of Worcester; her grandchildren, Genevieve Foresteire and her husband, Adam of Spencer and Shane Fitzgerald of Holden; great grandchildren, Abby, Avery and Gianna Foresteire of Spencer; her sisters Shirley, Doreen and Sheila of Prince Edward Island, Canada and brother Vernon of Prince Edward Island, Canada. She was predeceased by her sisters Rita and Jeannie, her brother Joey and her long-term partner Paul Loach.
Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing and visiting family in Prince Edward Island, playing cribbage, playing bingo, treasure hunting at yard sales, knitting and crocheting. She was a loving and caring grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Audrey was employed in the house keeping industry for several years and worked in the catering industry as well. She had retired in recent years giving her even more time to spend with her family which was a blessing for all.
There are no services. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
