HOLDEN – Arthur W. Boulay, 95, of 7 Lowell Avenue, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 in Parson’s Hill Nursing Home, Worcester after an illness.
His wife of 52 years, Lucille (DeSantis) Boulay, died in 1988. He leaves two sisters, Beatrice Smith of Westboro and Lillian Milus of Oxford, and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, George and Edward Boulay, and two sisters, Doris Watkins and Elizabeth DeSantis predeceased him. He was born in Worcester the son of William and Clara (Arsenault) Boulay and lived 40 years in Holden.
Mr. Boulay was Plant Supervisor at George Meyer Company in Worcester. He previously worked at Worcester Stamped Metal and Economic Machine Company, both in Worcester. He was a World War II Navy veteran and served with the Seabees in Fiji, New Guinea, Philippines.
The funeral Mass for Mr. Boulay will be held on Monday, March 27, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1325 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A calling hour in the funeral home will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. the day of the funeral.
