HOLDEN - Arnold E. Hall, 73, of Bailey Road, Holden died Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
He was born in Newton, the son of Arnold and Beulah (Campbell) Hall. He has lived in Holden for 14 years, and resided in West Boylston for 20 years previously.
Arnold was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for many years as an assembler for Neles-Jamesbury and was a member of the Holden Senior Center. He enjoyed gardening, Patriots football, Nascar, and spending time with family and friends.
His wife of 38 years, Carole (Jack) Hall, passed away in 1995. He leaves a daughter, Linda Tella and her husband Louis, with whom he lived; a son, Michael and his wife Lynda of Dade City, Florida; a fiancee, Cheryl Godinho of Middleboro; three sisters, Joanne Russell of Everett, Mary Ann MacDonald of Weymouth and Florence Greeley of Tampa, FL; a brother, Robert Fisher of Everett; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Nicole, and Michael, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Ethel Bird, predeceased him.
Services and burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Princeton will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
