WORCESTER – Arline M. (O’Connor) Donoghue, of Beaver Street, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, after a brief illness.
Her husband, Bernard Donoghue, died in 1970. She leaves a daughter, Marilyn F. Alexander and her husband William of Holden and their children Michael and Elizabeth; several nephews and nieces. A sister, Lorraine N. O’Brien, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Peter J. and Nora M. (O’Malley) O’Connor and lived in Worcester her entire life.
Mrs. Donoghue graduated from Classical High School in Worcester and was a member of St. Peter’s Church. She worked for Hanover Insurance for over 40 years.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 31st, in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
