Lancaster – Arlene Barbara (Callender) Joseph, 71, went to sleep to await the return of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 20, 1950, the daughter of Conrad and Una May (Darby) Callender and has lived in Lancaster for many years.

She had a passion for teaching and taught for the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Northeastern Conference for many years. More recently she worked as a CNA and cared for her patients as if they were her own family. She was a dedicated member of the Seventh- day Adventist Community and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Arlene was predeceased by her son Stephen Alexander Joseph, her mother Una May (Darby) Harrison, her sister Victoria Elaine Harrison, and her brother Frederick Douglas Walter Darby Harrison. She is survived by her son, Alan Joseph and his wife, her daughter-in-law Tanika, their beloved son, her grandson Alan Josiah, and one grandchild on the way.
