April loved being outdoors among nature. She enjoyed time in the garden, and it didn't have to be her own garden. At family and friend's gatherings, April could be found pruning and tending to their gardens and loved giving advice on what needed to be done. April looked forward to spending time painting and completing puzzles with her mother. She loved all animals but horses had a very special place in her heart.
She loved her family and was a loyal friend to many. April was a very resilient woman who overcame many difficulties in her life and always found happiness in the smallest of things.
Her family is grateful for the compassion and kindness April and her family received from Gentiva Hospice. April had the most dedicated care team and volunteers who provided her with the utmost comfort and dignity. A special thank you to her niece, Melanie who was always by her side and shared a special bond with her Auntie April.
She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
