LANCASTER – Antonio E. Oliveira, 83, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Sterling Village after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 59 years, Jael G. Deoliveira; five children, Jeremias Deoliveira, Alzenir DaSilva, Aulenir Elis, all of Lancaster, Elenice Deoliveira and Rita Deoliveira both of Brazil; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Antonio was born in Bahia, Brazil, the son of Pedro and Ana (Oliveira) Cabrobo and had lived in Brazil before moving to Lancaster 20 years ago. He was a self employed landscaper and a member of the Lancaster Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lancaster.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Funeral services for Antonio will be held on Wednesday, June 26, at 10 a.m. in Lancaster Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church, 357 Sterling Road, Lancaster. Burial will follow at Eastwood Cemetery in Lancaster.
