WORCESTER – Annie L. (Campbell) Chamberlain, age 95, died peacefully on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by the loving presence of her family. Born in Livermore, Maine, Annie was the daughter of Ralph and Maude (Cummings) Campbell. She grew up in Canton, Maine, graduating from Canton High School where she was voted “Most Studious”.
Annie attended New England College in Maine, while also working at the Canton General Store where she had been working since she was 14. She chose this store because it had a pharmacy and she wanted to be a pharmacist. Instead, she married Lucien Chamberlain, her beloved husband of 59 years. She spent many years as a homemaker, and together with Lucien, they raised their five children. Eventually, Annie went to work for Guaranty Bank/Bank of New England before retiring early with her husband. She was an avid football fan, particularly her New England Patriots, and followed all of the players. She was grateful for the time she spent watching the Patriots in Foxboro with her son David.
Annie will be lovingly missed and remembered by her children, Judy Chamberlain of Princeton, LuAnn Gallant and her husband, Samuel of Brooklyn, Connecticut, Carol Klauzinski of Webster Lake and her partner, Michael Meehan of Thompson, CT, Karen Hendrie of Holden, and David Chamberlain and his wife, Maryellen of Charlton; her cherished grandchildren, John Tivnan, Mia Hubacz, Julianna Tivnan, Callista Kamau, Mitch Gallant, Tammy Gallant, Kyle Hendrie, Kara Hendrie, Alyssa Mannarino, Hayley Groton, and Christopher Klauzinski; and her dear great-grandchildren, Liam Hubacz, Haven Hubacz, Emma Mannarino, Jason Mannarino, Mazie Groton, and Merik Groton, with two more expectant blessings, in March and June.
Family and Friends will gather for a Graveside Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. Arrangements are in the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
