HOLDEN – Annette M. (Saulnier) Frissora, 69, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, surrounded by family.
Born in Toronto, Canada, Annette was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Bourque) Saulnier. She resided in Worcester most of her life, moving to Holden about a year ago to live with her daughters. Her loving husband of 36 years, Edward Frissora Jr. passed in 2011.
Annette is survived by her daughters, Melissa Frissora and her fiancé’ Bill Catino, and Kristi Frissora and her husband Chris “Boo” Boudreau, both of Holden; her brother Jerry Saulnier; her sisters Diane Reilly, Cathy Saulnier, and Doreen Saulnier; her grandchildren Natalie, Kallie, and Cole; many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Working for the Worcester Public School system for over 35 years, “Miss Annette” was an instructional assistant, most recently at the Jacob Hiatt Magnet School before retiring due to her illness. She devoted many years to serving on various educational boards and associations and was recognized with the Thomas Jefferson Award from the City of Worcester. Annette loved a good beach day with her husband or sisters, enjoyed playing bingo, weekend trips with her school family, watching reality tv and game shows, and cooking way too much food for family holidays. Taught by her mother at an early age, she loved to knit and made hundreds of scarves for everyone she knew and then some. Her most favorite thing to do was spoil her grandchildren with everything and anything, as they were her whole world. As she became sicker, she enjoyed the small things like watching for cardinals on the feeders, puzzles, or playing with her grand cats. If you knew her, or even if you didn’t, she would talk your ear off. She was genuinely the most caring and empathetic person and left a mark on the hearts of all who met her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Kwiatkowski and the whole team at Dana Farber for their care and guidance this past year.
