WORCESTER – Annette P. Fife, 66, died on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Clifford W. and Dorothy (Briggs) Fife.
Annette graduated from Wachusett High School. As a person with her own disabilities, she found it very rewarding working for several years as a classroom aide for handicapped children. She was a longtime resident of the Donna Kay Rest Home in Worcester, where she enjoyed many friendships. In her youth Annette was an avid doll collector and amassed a collection of dolls from many countries and ethnic backgrounds. Annette was a prior member of the Namoi Lodge and Greendale People’s Church, both in Worcester, for many years.
She leaves her brother, Robert E. Fife and his wife, Sandra of South Yarmouth and her sister, Viola Wardell and her husband, Andrew of Worcester; three nieces, Linda Erickson and Lisa Lange, both of Rutland and Laurellin Wardell of Worcester; as well as several grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Clifford Fife, Jr.
A graveside service for Annette will be held on Wednesday, June 17, at 11 a.m. in Rural Cemetery, 142 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland.
