Anne E. Good, 72, of Boylston, formerly of Randolph and Worcester, passed away peacefully after a long illness on December 14, 2024, at the Jewish Healthcare Center Nursing Home.
Annie was born in Randolph, MA on October 8, 1952. She was predeceased by her parents Henrietta (Pentleton) and Philip N. Good, Sr. of Randolph and her sister Kathleen (Good) Heffernan of Boxford. She is survived by her best friends of 55 years Jane Snell and Marjorie Heywood and her three siblings Philip N. Good Jr. of Wakefield, William Good of Kentucky and Mary (Good) Ellis of Maine. Annie had many nieces, nephews, and godchildren that she cherished and guided into their adult lives. She loved and was immensely proud of them and took great pleasure in their achievements.
Annie earned both her B.S. (Biology; 1973) and M.S. (Biological Sciences; 1979) degrees from Anna Maria College. She focused her passion for science working as a Biology Technician, Supervisor of the Pathology group and ultimately as a Program Manager at Mason Research Laboratories from 1973 until her retirement in 1998.
Beyond her professional life, Annie was a dedicated volunteer at St. George's Parish in Holden for over 15 years. She shared her passion for education by teaching and later directing the CCD program, and she generously contributed her time to managing the office, preparing funeral and parish programs, and implementing the Parishsoft parish software. Faith was an important part of Annie's life, and she was very excited when she made her Cursillo followed by many years as a coordinator for Ultreya.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with and a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10 H Putnam Road Extension Charlton, MA. Burial will be at 1:15 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, 245 North Street, Randolph, MA.
