WORCESTER - Anne M. Anderson, 93, died peacefully on November 8, 2022, at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, after a period of declining health.
Born in Worcester, Anne was the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Kapulka) Bergman and was a lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts. She lived in Paxton since 1965.
Anne graduated from Framingham State Teacher's College with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, after which she pursued a career in teaching. She also worked for many years at Bay State Saving Bank. Anne was an avid reader, and she relished the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Anne will be lovingly missed and remembered by her daughter, Erika Nelson and her husband, David of New Durham, NH; her son, Leonard Anderson of Ogunquit, ME; her cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Katie Paight and her husband Zach of Marlborough, NH, Joshua Anderson and his wife Erin of Mansfield, MA, and Julie Venezia and her husband Eric of Niantic, CT; and her great-grandson, Christian Anderson and many wonderful Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Alvin Anderson, her sister and best friend Elsie Smith, her brother Alfred Bergman, and her daughter in-law Linda Anderson.
Anne's family will gather privately to honor her memory. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eisenberg Assisted Living on Salisbury Street in Worcester.
