Anna M. (Zucco) Hester

RUTLAND – Anna M. (Zucco) Hester, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 surrounded by her loving family, as the light shined in, she took her final breath holding her two daughters hands. She is now in God’s hands looking over all of us.
She leaves two daughters, Frances J. Goessinger and her husband, Dave of Plymouth, CT and Elizabeth A. Handy of Rutland; a sister, Mary C. Negri of Canaan, CT; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kelly, James and Curtis; and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Sheffield, the daughter of Giovanni and Santina A. (Pezze) Zucco and had lived in Winsted, CT for most of her life before moving to Rutland in 2003. Rest in peace little Meme.
In celebration of Anna’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. To share a memory or offer an online condolence please sign the guestbook on this page.
