HOLDEN – Ann F. (Tynan) Cappuccio, 90, of Winthrop Lane died peacefully under the loving care of her family and staff at Holden Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Roseanna M. (Vancelett) and James F. Tynan, and lived in Worcester until moving to Holden in 1963.
Ann is predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, George J. Cappuccio, who died in 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Dolores A. Ordway and her husband Albert of Hubbardston; two grandchildren, Timothy Ordway of Bell, Florida and Christine Marcinkiewicz of Hubbardston; and three great-grandchildren, Lane, Faith and Angela.
She graduated from Commerce High School and was a nurse for many years in the Worcester area. Ann was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed helping others by supporting many charitable causes. She was a member of Holden Chapel and the Worcester Chorus where she sang in the Messiah for many years. She was a talented artist and avid seamstress that enjoyed participating in church craft fairs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation hour from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holden Nursing Home, Patient Activities Fund, 32 Mayo Drive, Holden, MA 01520.
