Ann-Marie (Lefave) Roche

June 26, 1970 — April 9, 2022

SPENCER - Ann-Marie (LeFave) Roche, 51, succumbed to her hard-fought battle with breast cancer on Saturday, April 9, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Woburn, raised in Haverhill and had lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Spencer four years ago.

She leaves her husband of 18 years, Jason M. Roche; her father, John LeFave and his wife, Linda of Paxton; her mother, Carol (Moyer) Boucher and her husband, James of Otisfield, ME; her brothers, Thomas LeFave of Glenwood Springs, CO, and Timothy LeFave of Spencer; her beloved nieces, Sophie and Lila Watkins; Fiona LeFave and special nephew, Dexter LeFave; her mother-in-law, Charlotte Ward; sister-in-law, Kellie Watkins of Sarasota, FL and father-in-law, Richard Roche of Fort Myers, FL; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, very devoted friends. She was also a loving dog mom to Wilbur and Fern.

Ann-Marie graduated from Haverhill High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Worcester State College. She was employed by TJX of Westboro for the past 25 years and was a highly valued member of the organization in a variety of positions during her career. Ann-Marie’s most recent role was that of Manager of Planning and Allocation at which her business strength and talents were evident during the development and implementation of new Merchandise Planning Systems implemented across all TJX divisions.
Ann-Marie was a talented seamstress and crafter. She created handmade tote bags, wallets, and wristlets under the business name of LilaLu Bags available through Etsy and the Crompton Collective in Worcester. Ann-Marie loved to travel to warm sunny places which featured a place to walk in the sand and put her toes in the water. She was an avid and competitive player of board games, loved reading across a variety of genres and gardening with a special love of sunflowers. Most of all, Ann-Marie valued spending time with her family and friends whenever possible, all of whom will miss her shining eyes and bright, beautiful smile.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the many healthcare and support professionals at UMass Memorial Medical Center and the Overlook Hospice and Palliative Care Center for their compassionate care of Ann-Marie.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Celebration of Ann-Marie’s beautiful life will be occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann-Marie’s name to the Worcester Animal Rescue League139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606, or the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
