WORCESTER – Ann M. (Biggins) Allaire, 90, died peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Christopher House, Worcester. Ann was born in Worcester, the daughter of Thomas J. and Ella (Finn) Biggins and lived in most of her life there.
Her beloved husband of 56 years, Paul L. Allaire died in 2005. Ann is survived by a son, George P. Allaire and his wife, Barbara of Auburn; her daughters, Joanne M. Barry and her husband, John of Westfield and Paula A. Konde and her husband, Richard of Spencer; two brothers, Walter F. Biggins of Longmeadow and Thomas J. Biggins, Jr. of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Alice Ruskowski of Southborough and Mary Houghton of Hingham; five grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Jeremy Barry, Ben Allaire and Anna Konde; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ann graduated from Commerce High School and went on to work for Norton Company in Worcester in the payroll department. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Angels Church in Worcester. Ann loved music and was a gifted and accomplished pianist. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. The funeral will be held on Friday, October 25, with a 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St., Worcester.
