In his mid-twenties, Andrew became a licensed certified Home Health aide, leaving an indelible mark with his gentle ways, caring touch, and dry sense of humor at the Apple Valley Continuing Care Center in Ayer.
Andrew's multifaceted life touched the hearts of many, but whenever his family reflects on him, they remember his profound connection to music. A brilliant musician, his talent shone from the time he picked up the viola as a child to his note-perfect rendition of Baba O'Reilly in his early teens. As the lead singer and guitarist of various rock bands, notably "Kodachrome," his soul was intricately intertwined with the world of music.

Some individuals possess a rare connection to a higher power, and for Andrew, that connection was music—a calling, a vocation, the language of his soul. Whether discussing the nuances of the Beatles or marveling at the guitar work of Yngwie Malmsteen, he inspired those around him to truly listen and delve deeper into the beauty of sound. His love for music enriched the lives of his family, fostering a greater joy and appreciation for the arts.

In addition to his love for his cherished children and music, Andrew found pleasure in simple joys, such as walking and taking the T through Boston, exploring the realms of computers, and indulging in English sitcoms. He also delighted in watching the Fourth of July Fireworks from the Longfellow Bridge, affectionately known as "the salt and pepper bridge."
