WEST BOYLSTON – Andrea E. La Vigne, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Andrea was a lifetime resident of West Boylston and was a member of the 1996 graduating class of West Boylston High School.
Andrea’s career as a waitress spanned over 20 years. While in high school, she worked at O’Connor’s Restaurant and later Pleasant Valley Country Club, The Sole Proprietor and One Eleven Chop House. She was a talented artist and enjoyed listening to music, cooking and being outdoors. Andrea was selfless by nature and volunteered countless hours assisting young adults who were in crises or needing a friend. Her kind advice, counsel and healing heart left an indelible mark on those she touched.
She will be profoundly missed by those who loved her including her two daughters, Ashley and Alise; her parents, Edward P. La Vigne of Sterling and Maureen E. (Doyle) La Vigne of West Boylston; two sisters, Brieana Tascione of Newtown Square, PA and Alexandra La Vigne of San Leandro, CA; a nephew, a niece and cousins; aunts and uncles. She is predeceased by an infant daughter, Aliana Elise La Vigne and by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and visit with Andrea’s family from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, October 4, at Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, October 5, at St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge St., Sterling. Andrea will be laid to rest next to her daughter and grandparents at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston.
