HOLDEN – Alma T. (Maki) Letourneau, 90, formerly of Arizona Ave., died on Thursday, July 10, 2008, in Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, after an illness.
Her husband, Maurice A. Letourneau died in 1984. She leaves a sister, Linda S. Maki of Holden; many nephews and nieces. A son, Maurice D. Letourneau died in 1980. Five brothers, William, Olavi, Eino, David, and John Maki, and a sister, Elsie Maki, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Ivar and Linda (Jokela) Maki and lived most of her life in Holden.
Mrs. Letourneau graduated from Holden High School and worked many years for H. Brown Shoe Company in Worcester.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 14th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1326 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sweet Pea for Animals, P.O. Box 897, Rutland, MA 01543.
