PAXTON - Alma (Schultz) Nash, a long time Paxton resident, died peacefully at the Rose Monahan Hospice House on September 28, 2013.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, John M. Nash; her children Craig Nash and wife Claudia of Millbury, Laurie Brown and husband Dale of Sutton and Cindy Shea and husband Bill of Paxton; along with her six grandchildren Adam and Zachary Nash, Riley and Haley Brown, and Katie and Sara Shea, nine nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law.

Alma was born in Yonkers, NY to Eugene and Selina Schultz. She was raised in Washington D.C. and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Russell Sage College. She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cornell University and her master’s degree from Columbia University. She was a visiting nurse in Harlem, NY prior to marrying and moving to Worcester. She worked as a pediatric nurse at Worcester City Hospital and UMass Hospital until retiring in 1989.
