BARRE - David Allen Keans, 45, of Barre died suddenly on December 24, 2006. He was the son of Gladys Jean Allen of Barre and the late James L. Keans of Walpole, New Hampshire.
He leaves his sister, Wendy Jean Keans and her partner Joseph Sokol of Salem, Massachusetts and Alton Bay, New Hampshire, and a sister, Jamie Keans Orszulak, a brother-in-law, Joseph Orszulak, and a brother, Robert Stanley Keans and partner Nancy Barree, all of Barre; two nieces, Kylie Jean Orszulak and Jillian Lee Keans; and a nephew, Dylan James Orszulak.
David graduated from Quabbin Regional High School and attended Parsons School of Design in New York City. He was a member of the Barre Congregational Church. He was employed by Flowerland in Worcester for 19 years and well known as one of Worcester’s finest floral designers, specializing in weddings.
The funeral service for David will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, in the Barre Congregational Church, 30 Park Street, Barre. Interment will be private in Glen Valley Cemetery, Barre, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are from 12 to 2 p.m. in the church prior to the service.
